NDA govt. requested Dr. Swamy
to withdraw his Private Member Bill on banning cow slaughter, after that no action.
Swamy replied - "Yes, the Government has not kept its promise made on the floor of Rajya Sabha. I agreed to withdraw because as a BJP member of the National Executive I cannot decline a request made by a Minister on the floor of the House"
